Read this before you scroll. Every image on this page is a design reference we use to talk through style, layout, and finish choices with Portland homeowners. None of them are photos of completed Pinnacle NW projects, and we are not going to label them as if they were. Our own job photography and before-and-after pairs are being collected and will replace this set. Until they do, use these to point at what you like, then call us and we will tell you what it takes to build it. Oregon CCB #258040. Licensed, bonded, and insured.
- Are these photos of your projects? No. Every image in the four categories above is a licensed design reference, and each one is captioned that way.
- Can I bring you a photo and ask you to build it? Yes, and that is the best use of this page. Send us what caught your eye on the estimate request form on this page.
- Where are the before and after photos? They are being put together from our project archive. We take daily photos during construction on every job, so the before shots exist.
- Do you have a showroom? Call us at (503) 341-9590 and ask. It is a better question for a person than for a web page, because the honest answer depends on what you want to see and when.

Four categories
Category One
Kitchen design references
Kitchens are our flagship work and the most mentioned subject in our Google reviews. These are looks worth discussing, not projects we built.
White cabinets, dark backsplash
High contrast without a full color commitment. The dark tile does the work, so the cabinets can stay simple and the room stays bright.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Hex tile and a wood island
A wood island front warms up an all-white kitchen. The hex backsplash adds pattern at eye level where you actually notice it.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Apron sink and open shelving
Open shelving looks great and asks something of you in return. Worth deciding early, because it changes the cabinet order.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Shaker, done properly
The safest cabinet style there is, which is exactly why the details matter. Under-cabinet lighting and a sink centered on the window carry it.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Handleless and quiet
No hardware, no visual noise. It suits a smaller kitchen where every extra line makes the room feel busier than it is.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Cooktop in the island
Moving the cooktop to the island changes your venting plan and usually your electrical. It is a layout decision, not a finish decision.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Category Two
Bathroom design references
Tile, glass, and fixtures set the tone. Ask about 10% off a full bathroom remodel when you call.
Glass shower, black fixtures
Frameless glass makes a narrow bathroom read wider. Matte black fixtures give it a line to follow without adding color.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Floating vanity, double basin
A wall-hung vanity buys you floor space you can see, which helps in a room this size. It also means the plumbing has to be moved into the wall.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Freestanding soaking tub
The tub everyone wants. Worth checking your floor framing and your hot water capacity before you fall for one.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Texture instead of tile
Plaster and stone finishes are a different waterproofing conversation than tile. Beautiful, but plan the substrate first.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Small bath, bold floor
A small bathroom is the one room where a loud floor works. There is not enough of it to overwhelm anything.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Color on the lowers only
Dark below, light above. It is the easiest way to use a real color without shrinking the room, and it works in a bath as well as a kitchen.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Category Three
Deck design references
Outdoor structures in this climate live or die on detailing. These show the shapes worth planning around.
Built-in bench seating
Bench seating around the edge gives you railing and furniture in one move, and it keeps the usable middle of the deck clear.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Painted deck boards
Paint looks sharp on day one and asks for maintenance on year three. Stain is the lower-effort answer under Pacific Northwest rain.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Cooking and dining zones
Grill on one end, table on the other. Splitting the deck into two zones is what stops a big deck from feeling like a platform.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Elevated deck on a slope
Portland lots slope more than people expect. An elevated deck is a structural project first and a finish project second.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Category Four
Whole home design references
When several rooms change at once, the decisions stop being about rooms and start being about flow.
Open plan with a feature wall
Take out a wall and the room needs a new anchor. A run of wood paneling gives the eye somewhere to land.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
One floor through the house
Running the same flooring through every room is the cheapest way to make a house feel bigger. It is also the easiest thing to get wrong mid-project.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Glass to the outside
Big glass changes your framing, your insulation, and your permit. Worth pricing early rather than adding to the wish list late.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Finish before furniture
This is what a whole-home remodel looks like at handoff, before anything moves back in. It is the honest measure of the finish work.
Design reference. Not a Pinnacle NW project photo.
Our Own Work
Project photos and before / after pairs
These slots are reserved for real Pinnacle NW job photography. We take daily photos on every project, so the material exists. It ships here once the homeowners have signed off on publishing it, and not a day before.
Questions
Gallery FAQs
Are these photos of your projects?
No. Every image in the four categories above is a licensed design reference, and each one is captioned that way. Our own project photos are being collected and will replace them. We would rather say that plainly than pass someone else's kitchen off as ours.
Can I bring you a photo and ask you to build it?
Yes, and that is the best use of this page. Send us what caught your eye on the estimate request form on this page. We will tell you what it takes to build in your space, what has to change to work with your existing plumbing and framing, and what it costs.
Where are the before and after photos?
They are being put together from our project archive. We take daily photos during construction on every job, so the before shots exist. Publishing them takes homeowner sign-off, which we are working through.
Do you have a showroom?
Call us at (503) 341-9590 and ask. It is a better question for a person than for a web page, because the honest answer depends on what you want to see and when.
