What Homeowners Say

★★★★★
I engaged Pinnacle Construction for a full kitchen renovation, including structural work and custom cabinetry. Overall experience: Excellent. They offered thoughtful design suggestions I hadn’t considered. The crew was professional, fastidious, and often went “above and beyond” to keep the project running smoothly. They were consistently communicative, upfront about delays, and flexible with changes—a rarity in my experience. The site was clean daily, and disruption was minimal—even though I worked from home. They provided a detailed contract, closely adhered to the agreed budget, and handled change orders transparently. Overall a great company to work with!

Daniel (owner) was doing an installation next door. My 83 year old mom needed to have her new bed lowered. The posts the bed sat upon were 8 inches high, and my Mom is about 4'11". Daniel and his assistant came after they finished their project, and spent 35 minutes cutting my Mom's bedposts in half to accommodate her height. It's now a perfect height. His kindness towards my Mom really touched our hearts. He had us only pay his assistant. He just asked if I could write a review. This was the easiest 5 star review that I've ever done. I highly recommend Pinnacle NW for any of your bathroom and kitchen plans.
★★★★★
For a while now me and my wife have been wanting to do a remodel in our kitchen. We were worried and skeptical for a while trying to find a good company we could trust. After a long time of searching through many companies we finally came across the right portland construction company and that was Pinnacle Construction . Right off the bat they were so helpful and quick to respond. They were very professional and figured out any problems and needs respectfully and quickly. I truly recommend this company if you’re looking for your construction and remodel needs!
From Our Job Log
A job we were called out for, in their words
A real Portland metro job, taken from the customer's own Google review. We do not put a town on a job unless the customer named one, so this is not being claimed as a Happy Valley project.
What they called about
A living room, a kitchen and a bathroom, remodeled together.
What we found
Owners who knew exactly what they wanted each room to become, and a house they were still living in.
What got done
All three rooms were remodeled, the living room opened up, and the owners were kept informed at every step.
★★★★★
The team was punctual, respectful of our home, and clearly skilled at what they do.

Remodeling in Happy Valley, on your schedule and in your home
Happy Valley sits on the southeast edge of the Portland metro, in Clackamas County, and it is one of the communities we travel to. We work the way the area actually lives: at your address, around your household, on a plan built for your house rather than a catalog. Instead of asking you to drive to a showroom and choose from a shelf, we come out, look at the real space, and talk through what you want changed before a single number is quoted. A remodel reads very differently when you are standing in the room it affects, and the estimate should reflect that room, not a template.
When we say we serve Happy Valley, the whole fixed-price standard travels with us. The written scope, the daily photo updates, the vetted crews, and the 3-year workmanship warranty do not change because you are in a suburb instead of the city core. What you approve is what we build, and the price for that scope is settled before anyone picks up a demolition bar.
What a fixed-price contract actually protects you from
A fixed-price contract puts the number for your agreed scope in writing before demolition begins, which is the opposite of how a lot of remodels drift. The stories homeowners tell us are rarely about the finished room. They are about the middle: the week the timeline slipped, the day an unfamiliar crew showed up, the invoice that grew with change orders no one had explained. Those are the failures a written price is designed to prevent, and they are the reason we structure every Happy Valley project this way.
Before work starts, you get a scope that spells out what is included, the materials chosen, and a schedule you can hold us to. Approve it, and that is the project. If you want to add or change something later, we price it plainly and get your sign-off first. There is no line item for work you never authorized, and no guesswork about where the money went, because the answer was written down before we began.
One team owns the job, from first cut to final walkthrough
Most remodels go sideways at the hand-offs. A kitchen or bathroom stacks cabinetry, surfaces, plumbing, electrical, ventilation, lighting, and finish carpentry into a tight footprint, and every trade waits on the one before it. Loosen those hand-offs and the schedule and budget are the first things to break. We keep one accountable team across the entire scope, so you are never the middle manager between a cabinet installer, an electrician, and a flooring crew who have never met. We sequence the trades, keep the site clean and protected, and send daily photo updates so you can follow the work from anywhere. At the end, we clear every open item at a final walkthrough before the job is called done, and we back it with a 3-year workmanship warranty.

Getting There, and Who Inspects It
How we reach Happy Valley, and who issues your permit
From our shop to Happy Valley
Our shop is on SE Blanton Street in the Oak Grove area of Clackamas County, on Oregon 99E, the road most people here call McLoughlin Boulevard. It runs north toward downtown Portland and south toward Oregon City, which is how most of our service area gets reached. Measured straight-line from our shop's geocoded centre (45.3889857, -122.613645), that is about 9 miles to downtown Portland and about 2 miles to Oregon City - point-to-point distances, not drive times.
Happy Valley is southeast of Portland below Mount Scott, an extinct volcano in the Boring Lava Field. Oregon 212 and Oregon 224 both run out this way from the Clackamas area, which is the route we take. The city went from about 1,500 people in 1990 to over 23,000 by 2020, so most of what we walk into here is 1990s-and-later construction rather than pre-war stock.
Happy Valley is an incorporated city and issues its own permits through the Happy Valley Building Division. We pull the permits and book the inspections as part of the job, and the cost sits inside your fixed price rather than turning up later.

Questions
Happy Valley remodeling FAQs
Do you travel out to Happy Valley for the project?
Yes. We come to you. Happy Valley is part of our Clackamas County service area, and we travel to your home to walk the space, talk through your goals, and put a written, fixed-price scope in front of you before any work begins.
Where is Happy Valley, and is it inside your service area?
Happy Valley is a Portland-metro suburb on the southeast side of the city, in Clackamas County. It sits inside our Oregon service area, which our CCB #258040 license, bonding, and insurance cover.
Does the fixed price hold in Happy Valley the same way it does closer to Portland?
Yes. The process does not change with the address. Your price for the agreed scope is written down before demolition begins wherever you are in our service area. If reaching a project at the outer edge of our coverage affects the quote, we put that in writing before you commit. Nothing is added after you sign.
Which remodeling services can I get in Happy Valley?
Kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, full-home and custom remodeling, deck building, millwork and finish carpentry, and mold remediation, each on a written, fixed-price contract. You can open any of these from the services section above.
Can you handle mold or hidden moisture found during a Happy Valley remodel?
Yes. Older and newer Happy Valley homes alike can hide moisture behind walls, and Pacific Northwest damp does not help. If we find mold during a project, we address it and rebuild cleanly, and we price any genuinely unforeseen work openly with you rather than burying it in the bill.
Are you licensed and insured to remodel homes in Happy Valley?
Yes. Pinnacle NW LLC holds Oregon CCB #258040 and is bonded and insured. You can verify our license anytime through the Oregon Construction Contractors Board using that number.
