What Homeowners Say

★★★★★

For a while now me and my wife have been wanting to do a remodel in our kitchen. We were worried and skeptical for a while trying to find a good company we could trust. After a long time of searching through many companies we finally came across the right portland construction company and that was Pinnacle Construction . Right off the bat they were so helpful and quick to respond. They were very professional and figured out any problems and needs respectfully and quickly. I truly recommend this company if you’re looking for your construction and remodel needs!

Have these guys come out and do a bathroom remodel for me and couldn’t be more happier with the work! Work was done quick with quality and very good communication. Everything is done exactly how I want it.

★★★★★

I engaged Pinnacle Construction for a full kitchen renovation, including structural work and custom cabinetry. Overall experience: Excellent. They offered thoughtful design suggestions I hadn’t considered. The crew was professional, fastidious, and often went “above and beyond” to keep the project running smoothly. They were consistently communicative, upfront about delays, and flexible with changes—a rarity in my experience. The site was clean daily, and disruption was minimal—even though I worked from home. They provided a detailed contract, closely adhered to the agreed budget, and handled change orders transparently. Overall a great company to work with!

From Our Job Log

A job we were called out for, in their words

A real Portland metro job, taken from the customer's own Google review. We do not put a town on a job unless the customer named one, so this is not being claimed as a Clackamas County project.

What they called about

Mold and water damage that had turned into a health problem, and a homeowner who wanted to know what it would cost before anything came out.

What we found

The damage did not stop at the cabinets. It ran into the wall behind them.

What got done

The water damaged cabinets came down, every portion of the wall behind them was reinforced or replaced, and it was done in a couple of days. External health and safety reports verified the work afterwards.

★★★★★

Pinnacle NW Bath Remodel is a fixed-price remodeling contractor working across Clackamas County, Oregon, from Lake Oswego and West Linn to Oregon City, Happy Valley, Wilsonville, and the unincorporated communities between them. We walk your home, put a written scope in front of you, and build to a fixed price with daily photo updates and a 3-year workmanship warranty. Kitchen, bathroom, custom, and whole-home remodeling, plus decks, millwork, and mold remediation. Oregon CCB #258040. Licensed, bonded, and insured in Oregon.

  • Do you serve all of Clackamas County? We serve the northern and western parts of the county where people actually live: Lake Oswego, West Linn, Oregon City, Happy Valley, Clackamas, Wilsonville, Stafford, Beavercreek, and the communities between them.
  • Who issues the permit for my remodel in Clackamas County? It depends on your address. Inside an incorporated city, the city building department issues it.
  • Is the fixed price the same everywhere in Clackamas County? Yes. The process does not change with the address. We walk the house, write the scope, and set the price before demolition starts.
  • Do you handle rural Clackamas County properties as well as city lots? Yes. Out toward Stafford and Beavercreek we regularly work on properties with wells and septic systems, and we check both before scoping any project that moves or adds plumbing, because the answer changes what the project actually is.

Remodeling across Clackamas County

Clackamas County is one of Oregon's original four districts, created in 1843, and its county seat is Oregon City. The 2020 census counted 421,401 residents spread across 17 incorporated cities and a large unincorporated area, and that mix is the thing to understand about remodeling here: two houses ten minutes apart can answer to completely different building departments, utility situations, and neighborhood expectations.

Our shop sits on SE Blanton Street in the county, so this is home ground. We work the lake neighborhoods of Lake Oswego, the hillside streets of West Linn and Happy Valley, the older housing stock around Oregon City, the I-205 corridor through Clackamas, and the rural properties out toward Stafford and Beavercreek, both of which are county-designated hamlets rather than cities.

Every community below has its own page with the local detail that actually affects a project there: who issues the permit, what the housing stock tends to hide, and which neighborhoods carry HOA review. Pick yours, or call (503) 341-9590 and tell us where you are.

Permits and who has jurisdiction in Clackamas County

If your address is inside an incorporated city, Lake Oswego, West Linn, Oregon City, Happy Valley, or Wilsonville, your building permit goes through that city's building department. Unincorporated addresses, which include Clackamas, Stafford, Beavercreek, and Redland, run through the Clackamas County Building Codes Division instead. We pull the permit either way under Oregon CCB #258040, we schedule the inspections, and the cost sits inside the fixed price.

Why your Clackamas County price is fixed before we start

A fixed-price contract means the number for your agreed scope is set in writing before anyone starts demolition. You are not exposed to surprise change orders because we did not look closely enough at the front end. That is why we walk the house first and why we open what needs opening before quoting. If we find something genuinely hidden, we bring it to you with options and a written price, the way we would want it handled in our own home.

You also get daily photo updates while your kitchen or bathroom is out of service, a clear schedule shared before the first day, a final walkthrough that closes out every punch-list item, and a 3-year workmanship warranty on what we build.

Getting There, and Who Inspects It

How we reach Clackamas County, and who issues your permit

From our shop to Clackamas County

Our shop is on SE Blanton Street in the Oak Grove area of Clackamas County, on Oregon 99E, the road most people here call McLoughlin Boulevard. It runs north toward downtown Portland and south toward Oregon City, which is how most of our service area gets reached. Measured straight-line from our shop's geocoded centre (45.3889857, -122.613645), that is about 9 miles to downtown Portland and about 2 miles to Oregon City - point-to-point distances, not drive times.

We are based in this county, on 99E in the Oak Grove area, which runs south to Oregon City and north to Portland. I-205 crosses the county and OR 224 becomes the Sunrise Expressway east of it.

The county runs building permits for every unincorporated address, while each incorporated city runs its own. The county publishes exactly who covers what at Clackamas County's permit-responsibility page. We pull the permits and book the inspections as part of the job, and the cost sits inside your fixed price rather than turning up later.

Questions

Clackamas County remodeling FAQs

Do you serve all of Clackamas County?

We serve the northern and western parts of the county where people actually live: Lake Oswego, West Linn, Oregon City, Happy Valley, Clackamas, Wilsonville, Stafford, Beavercreek, and the communities between them. If you are farther out in the county, call (503) 341-9590 and we will tell you honestly whether we can take the project.

Who issues the permit for my remodel in Clackamas County?

It depends on your address. Inside an incorporated city, the city building department issues it. In unincorporated areas like Clackamas, Stafford, and Beavercreek, it is the Clackamas County Building Codes Division. We handle the submittal and inspections as part of the job either way.

Is the fixed price the same everywhere in Clackamas County?

Yes. The process does not change with the address. We walk the house, write the scope, and set the price before demolition starts. If something about your site affects the quote, it is spelled out in writing before you commit.

Do you handle rural Clackamas County properties as well as city lots?

Yes. Out toward Stafford and Beavercreek we regularly work on properties with wells and septic systems, and we check both before scoping any project that moves or adds plumbing, because the answer changes what the project actually is.

Which Clackamas County cities have their own page?

Lake Oswego, West Linn, Oregon City, Happy Valley, Clackamas, Wilsonville, Stafford, and Beavercreek each have a dedicated page with local permit and housing detail. Rivergrove, Mountain Park, Rosemont, and Redland addresses are covered through their neighboring city pages.

Are you licensed and insured to work in Clackamas County?

Yes. Pinnacle NW LLC holds Oregon CCB #258040 and is bonded and insured in Oregon. You can verify the license through the Oregon Construction Contractors Board, and our licensed and bonded Clackamas County page walks through exactly how.
