What Homeowners Say

Rated 5.0 by 26 Portland homeowners

★★★★★

Responsive! High standards for fixing mold and water damage, reasonable price. Pinnacle got back to me quickly, provided a detailed quote -- I was never uncertain about what I was going to owe them-- worked with my schedule, and cleaned up a serious health threat beautifully. They tore down water damaged cabinets and reinforced or replaced every portion of the wall behind them in a couple days, with external health and safety reports verifying their work. They're a newer, smaller company, but the communication was great and I will definitely recommend them.

From Our Job Log

A job we were called out for, in their words

A real Portland metro job, taken from the customer's own Google review. We do not put a town on a job unless the customer named one, so this is not being claimed as a Lake Oswego project.

What they called about

A neighbour asked for help while Daniel was on an installation next door. An 83 year old's new bed sat too high for her to use.

What we found

Bed posts eight inches tall, under a bed belonging to someone about four foot eleven.

What got done

Daniel and his assistant came over after finishing the job next door and spent 35 minutes cutting the posts down. The family was asked to pay the assistant only.

★★★★★

Daniel and his assistant came after they finished their project, and spent 35 minutes cutting my Mom's bedposts in half to accommodate her height.

Remodeling in Lake Oswego, and we come to you

Lake Oswego sits just southwest of Portland, and it is one of the communities we travel to across our Clackamas County service area. We are not a walk-in showroom that asks you to drive downtown and pick from a catalog. We come to your home, look at the actual space, and talk through what you want to change before anyone quotes a number. That matters because remodeling decisions look very different standing in your own kitchen or bathroom than they do across a sales desk, and the plan should be built around your home rather than a template.

When we say we serve Lake Oswego, we mean the fixed-price process travels with us. The written scope, the daily photo updates, the vetted crews, and the 3-year workmanship warranty are the same here as anywhere else in the Portland metro. Nothing about the standard changes because you are in a suburb rather than in the city, and nothing about the price changes after you sign for the scope you approved.

Why a fixed-price contract matters before you start

A fixed-price contract means the number for your agreed scope is written down before demolition begins, so the plan and the price are settled up front instead of drifting week to week. Most homeowners we meet are not nervous about the idea of remodeling. They are nervous about the part that comes after the handshake, when the timeline slips, the crew changes, and the running total keeps climbing with change orders nobody explained clearly. We built Pinnacle NW to take that fear off the table.

Before work starts, you receive a written scope that lists exactly what is included, the materials selected, and a schedule you can hold us to. When you approve it, that scope is what we build. If you decide to add or change something along the way, we price the change clearly and get your sign-off before we proceed. You are never surprised by a line item for work you did not authorize, and you are never left guessing where the project stands.

One accountable team, from demolition to final walkthrough

Remodeling goes wrong most often at the hand-offs between trades. A kitchen or bathroom combines cabinetry, surfaces, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and finish carpentry in one tight footprint, and each trade depends on the one before it. When those hand-offs are loose, the schedule and the budget are the first casualties. We keep one accountable team on the whole scope, so you are not refereeing between separate crews who have never worked together. We sequence the trades, keep the site organized and protected, and keep you informed with daily photo updates so you can follow progress even on the days you are at work. At the end, we close out every remaining item at a final walkthrough before we call the job done, and we back the work with a 3-year workmanship warranty.

Getting There, and Who Inspects It

How we reach Lake Oswego, and who issues your permit

From our shop to Lake Oswego

Our shop is on SE Blanton Street in the Oak Grove area of Clackamas County, on Oregon 99E, the road most people here call McLoughlin Boulevard. It runs north toward downtown Portland and south toward Oregon City, which is how most of our service area gets reached. Measured straight-line from our shop's geocoded centre (45.3889857, -122.613645), that is about 9 miles to downtown Portland and about 2 miles to Oregon City - point-to-point distances, not drive times.

Lake Oswego is a straight run from the shop. Oregon 43 runs down the west side of the Willamette and becomes State Street through the middle of town before turning into the Pacific Highway to the south. The 405-acre Oswego Lake shapes the street pattern, and the older neighborhoods hold a real pre-war stock, including English Cottage and Tudor Revival houses the city documents as Richard Sundeleaf designs built between 1920 and 1940.

Lake Oswego is an incorporated city and runs its own building department, so your permit goes through the Lake Oswego Building Division. We pull the permits and book the inspections as part of the job, and the cost sits inside your fixed price rather than turning up later.
